专利说明:
description The invention relates to a device for measuring temperature in the anus or in the vagina of an animal. WO 2013188895 A2 describes a method and a system for recording data in a data network, the data relating to manipulations such as fever measurements on an animal. In this case, the animal, the manipulation device and the person performing the manipulation are registered in a data network and each equipped with electronic devices which are able to send out a unique identification signature and the emitted identification signatures are received by a central data collection point , In this case, parts of the transmission path of the identification signals transmitted as electrical signals are the body of the person performing the manipulation and the body of the animal on which the manipulation is carried out. The publications DE 694 25 492 T2, WO 2010/054312 A1, US Pat. No. 5,792,070 A, US Pat. No. 634,709 B1, WO 2009045868 A1 show generic devices, ie devices for measuring the temperature in the anus or in the vagina of an animal. The devices are essentially of slender, oblong shape. According to the invention, in these devices, the front longitudinal region, which is equipped with a temperature sensor, inserted into the anus or the vagina to a certain depth. The rear longitudinal region remains outstanding from the body opening. At the border region between the front and rear longitudinal region, the devices have a thickening or a transversely projecting part. By the device is inserted just as far into the body opening until this thickening or protruding part rests on the outside of the surface of the animal, the insertion depth is well defined, which for the reproducibility of the measurement and also to avoid pain or injury before geous is. On the part of the device remaining outside the body of the animal, either the measured temperature can be read off or it leads away from it to an evaluation and / or data collection unit. In the case of a manipulation, the sending of the identification signatures can be started automatically by the person manipulating touching the animal in question or by the handling device (for example a clinical thermometer) being used to touch the relevant animal. In the central data collection point can thus be automatically stored, which person has made with which device on which animal at what time a manipulation. Apart from the fact that the clinical thermometer used must be capable of said data transmission, the clinical thermometer used is not further defined. The object underlying the invention is to improve a device for the temperature measurement in the anus or in the vagina of an animal compared to the discussed devices of this type in such a way that the significance of the obtained measurement results on the condition of the animal on which was measured is improved. For solving the problem is based on the known construction, according to which the device is of elongated, slender shape, wherein in the intended use a longitudinal part, which is equipped with a temperature sensor, in the anus or, the vagina of the animal is to be inserted and a further longitudinal part protrudes from the body opening and wherein the device in the boundary region between the two longitudinal parts has a stop member which bears against the outside of the animal and thus prevents it as a stop that the device slides too far into the body opening of the animal. As an improvement according to the invention, it is proposed that the device has a second temperature sensor, namely on that longitudinal part which does not project into the body opening of the animal as intended, this second temperature sensor being intended to measure the ambient temperature. When measuring the body temperature with the one (inner) temperature sensor, the ambient temperature can thus be measured and registered with the second (outer) temperature sensor at a defined distance from the animal. By also knowing the ambient temperature when measuring the body temperature, the measurement result with respect to body temperature is more meaningful than if the ambient temperature were not known. The body temperature varies namely to a certain extent and also with (variable) time delay with fluctuations in the ambient temperature. For a more accurate assessment of the state of health or fertility of the animal, this co-fluctuation of the body temperature with fluctuations of the ambient temperature can thus be excluded as far as possible. In a preferred embodiment, the device is provided with electronics capable of radio-transmitting the measured results so that a remote receiving station can receive and store the results without a human being being identified as " intermediate volume " Must work. In a further preferred embodiment, the device itself has a unique, data-technically deposited identification signature, which they can send out as well as the measurement results, so that the receiving side can be automatically recorded to the measurement results, with which device exactly the temperature measurements were performed. In a further preferred embodiment, the device has an electrode on the surface which comes into contact with the animal when used as intended, by means of which electrical Signals can be exchanged with the body of the animal as a guiding medium for electrical signals. Thus, it is possible to use the body of the animal as part of the transmission path of electrical signals sent from the device. Furthermore, it is thus easily possible to automatically detect contact of the device with the animal, since it only needs to be checked whether - with the aid of another radio node - a signal transmission over the body of the animal is possible or not. Fig. 1: 2eigt an exemplary device according to the invention in a perspective view. In large parts, the exemplary device according to the invention according to FIG 1: - a front (inner) longitudinal part 1, which is intended to be introduced at the temperature measurement on an animal in the anus or vagina, - a rear (outer) longitudinal part 2, which is intended from Animal protrudes, - a stop member 3, which is a widening with respect to the front longitudinal part 1, so that it comes to rest during insertion of the longitudinal part 1 in the body opening of the animal on the outside of the animal and forms a stop against 2U wide insertion of the device. In the front part of the longitudinal part 1, a first temperature sensor 4 is mounted, which serves as intended to measure the body temperature of the animal in its interior. The temperature sensor may be, for example, a temperature-dependent electrical resistance or a thermocouple. In a preferred embodiment, it is an infrared radiation sensor arranged behind a radiation-transmissive disk. This is preferred because such sensors measure very quickly, so that they can come in fractions of a second to a useful result, At the intended side facing away from the animal side of the rear longitudinal part of the second temperature sensor 5 is mounted, which is intended to measure the ambient temperature outside the animal. In the illustrated advantageous embodiment, the front longitudinal part 1 is provided near its end part facing the rear longitudinal part 2 with an electrode surface 6 which is in contact with the body of the animal capable of electrical signals between the body of the animal and a in the device contained electronics (not ein2eichnet) to transfer. The electrode surface 6 is thus not only for the data transfer - in the manner mentioned above on the body of the animal - applicable, but also as a sensor surface by means of which it can be determined whether the front longitudinal part 1 (substantially) completely inserted into the body opening of the animal is. Of course, a complete insertion detecting sensor can also be realized by other means, for example by means of a pressure switch, which is arranged on the stop part 3 or just before the longitudinal part 1. A further electrode surface (not shown) which is required for data transmission by radio to and from the device is preferably an electrically conductive surface which acts as an antenna and is arranged as close as possible to the end region of the rear longitudinal part 2 remote from the front longitudinal part 1. The electronics, not shown in the device, operate the temperature sensors, optionally read the identification signature of the device and operate the transmission and reception of radio signals to a data collection station. In an alternative construction to the construction shown in Fig. 1 may be attached to the two free end portions of the impact member - preferably based on infrared radiation measurement - temperature sensor 5 is mounted, the detector surface does not come in the intended use directly with the animal in contact. By using two temperature sensors 5 and logical evaluation of the results, measurement errors can be better avoided than if only one temperature sensor is used. At the free end of the rear longitudinal part can then be mounted, for example, an opening for a compartment for a replaceable battery. The temperature sensor or sensors 5 which are intended to measure the ambient temperature are preferably also based on the known principle of infrared radiation measurement because of the achievable speed. For this purpose, the surface of the sensor facing the environment is a thin, but just sufficiently mechanically robust layer, typically made of plastic, which due to its thinness very quickly assumes the ambient temperature. The radiation-sensitive measuring surface of the sensor arranged in the interior of the longitudinal part 2 or 3 is aligned in such a way that it receives precisely the radiation which radiates inwards from the thin layer. In a preferred refinement, the device includes a signal generator, which is controlled by the electronics contained in the device to emit a signal when the temperature measurement is finished. As a signal, a light can light up, emit a sound or vibrate a vibrating device briefly. In a preferred further development, the longitudinal part 1 is equipped with a sensor device which measures the insertion depth of the longitudinal part 1 into the body opening of the animal even if the longitudinal part is not completely inserted. This is important if, for some reason, it is not appropriate or possible to completely insert the longitudinal part 1 for temperature measurement into the body opening of the animal. In an advantageous Embodiment, which is based on measurement of capacitively conducted electric current, this sensor is realized by a series of arranged along the longitudinal electrode surfaces, the electrodes are located just below the surface of the longitudinal part, but are separated from the environment by an electrical insulating layer. The electrodes are driven by high frequency AC voltage. The measuring principle is based on whether the surface of the longitudinal part 1 on which an electrode is located in air or in a body orifice of the animal, capacitive current flow between the (electrode and the area is smaller or larger .. i 'One or more sensor surfaces which detect whether the longitudinal part 1 is completely inserted into the body opening of the animal, can also be arranged on the side of the abutment part 3 facing the longitudinal part 1. These sensor surfaces can also be flat, as described above based on capacitively conducted electrical current. "In a preferred embodiment, the device is equipped with an acceleration sensor and the electronics contained in the device are designed to detect a characteristic acceleration profile and, as a consequence, the course of a Teraturaturmessvorganges To start f switch or button for starting a temperature measurement can be dispensed with, the device can be better completely leakproof and thus less prone to contamination.
